Chapter 6: Immutable Wealth Building Law #6 – The Law of Momentum

The law of momentum is actually tied to the law of speed and acceleration. Wealth acceleration only occurs from momentum. So what exactly is momentum? Momentum is a term that is used in physics. It refers to the quantity of motion that an object has. All objects are made up of mass and when an object is on the move, or is in motion it is considered to have momentum. So momentum can be basically defined as “mass in motion”.

Now the amount of momentum an object has is determined by two variables mass and velocity. How much stuff is in that object (mass) and how fast that stuff is moving (velocity). To put this into equation form:

Momentum = mass times velocity

Writing this book is the perfect example of the law of momentum. I first had to think of a subject matter for the book. After that I had to come up with a title for it. Then I wrote the outline. After the outline I wrote the first word in the introduction, shortly thereafter I had the first sentence in the introduction, then the first paragraph, then several paragraphs and it wasn't before long that the introduction was completed because I kept up the momentum. I kept moving, I kept writing. It was one successive action after another until I reached the point where you are reading now.

To finish the book, I must continue building momentum by writing more. Once the book is completed the momentum doesn't stop, or the book doesn't get out to the masses and it doesn’t sell. I must put an attractive cover on it, write a description of the book to entice potential readers and then I must get the book out to the public via a distribution system (Amazon, wholesale distributors, my website etc.).

In order to reach a wider base of readers, I have to convert the book into the different formats such as Kindle, paperback, and audio. I then have to market the book so that it can sell over and over again. Once this has occurred I will be creating wealth from the book because I have delivered value and I have equity or ownership, therefore I will be financially rewarded for my efforts.

To continue building momentum and to accelerate my wealth even further I plan to license the foreign rights to this book to the various book publishers around the world. This enables me to literally “print money”, which is all accomplished by using the law of momentum.

The other laws of wealth which are also being used effectively are; the law of control (I own and control the rights to the book), the law of leverage ( the distribution system I’m using to sell the book), the law of value and service ( the book has value and I will be servicing thousands upon thousands of people), the law of execution (I have to execute writing the book, distributing it,
